Belgium Day for Labour Economists

On 7th October, Arthur Apostel presented results from the ongoing LAMARTRA study on "Green Employment in Belgium" in a packed room at the Belgium Day for Labour Economists conference.

The event, held at the Planning Bureau in Brussels, was part of a one-day conference attended by around 70 people and focused on various aspect of the (Belgian) labour market.

During his presentation, Arthur discussed the methods and findings of the study (co-authored jointly with Mikkel Barslund), which analyses the extent and characteristics of green employment in Belgium. The audience was particularly interested in how green employment was measured in the study, and Arthur provided detailed explanations of the various indicators used. There were also several useful suggestions for extending the scope of the research.
